    Cardiff Bay Beach

Get Ready for Summer in the city!

The Capital FM Cardiff Bay Beach Festival is coming back bigger and better than ever – in a new waterfront location near Cardiff Bay Barrage – and packing even more attractions into the summer holidays.

A new home means an increase in size for this year’s Beach, and in addition to hosting its usual ingredients, the Beach will boast large scale attractions such as a Big Wheel, Roller Coaster, big water spraying arches, movie nights, and a marquee area where visitors can enjoy the best in street food.

    • Roller Coaster
    • Big water spraying arches

    • A marquee area where visitors can enjoy the best in street food.

    Getting There By Train

The nearest station is Cardiff Bay which drops you at the heart of the bay. Barrage Walkway is then a short 10-minute walk, and is the perfect location for both cyclists and dog-walkers who are welcome on site with us this year.

If you don’t fancy walking, a land train service will run every day from Mermaid Quay to the Beach during listed opening hours.
