Transport Focus (formally known as Passenger Focus) is the independent rail consumer organisation for Great Britain, who will establish strong working relationships with the Department for Transport, Welsh Assembly and the Scottish Executive.  They were formed on 24 July 2005 due to the Railways Act 2005, following the abolition of the regional Rail Passengers Committees and the former Rail Passengers Council.

They monitor the policies and performance of train and station operators and have the legal right to make recommendations for changes. Their special tasks include following up complaints and assessing the services offered.

    Transport Focus helpline is open 8am – 8pm Monday – Friday and 8am – 4pm weekends.
