All items of lost property are kept at our Lost Property office at Newport station - this includes anything found by other train companies whose services end at one of our stations. It can take up to 10 days from the date your items go missing for them to reach our lost property office. If your item was left with a different train company, you will need to speak to the train operator who was running your service. View list of train operators and contact details. We store items for 3 months, after which any unclaimed items are donated to local charities.
If you believe your item to be stolen then you should contact the British Transport Police.
To help us find your things as quickly as possible, we’ll need to know a few things when you contact us.To ensure that we get all the information we need to help get your items back to you, you can complete our lost property form which can be downloaded here.
Send the completed lost property form and any photographs you have of the items to us at email@example.com.
We will acknowledge receipt of your email and our lost property team will contact you if there are any items matching your description.
