The Explore Wales Pass is your ticket to enjoy the freedom to discover Wales by train. From only £69 (valid until 31/12/2017), enjoy great value train and bus travel to help you discover attractions and accommodation providers throughout the Arriva Trains Wales rail network. It’s the bargain you cannot afford to miss!

There are three types of Explore Wales Pass, which all offer unlimited travel on all mainline rail services in Wales, plus the routes between Newport, Shrewsbury and Crewe, Crewe to Chester and Newport to Gloucester.
Each Explore Wales Pass allows four days train.
*Railcard: You can get a discount on an Explore Wales Pass if you have a 16-25, Two Together, Disabled Persons or a Senior Railcard holder.
Tickets can be purchased at most staffed railway stations in Wales,larger stations such as London Paddington, Shrewsbury, Chester, Birmingham New Street, Bristol Temple Meads and Manchester; and National Rail Appointed Travel Agents throughout Britain.

Before you buy your Explore Wales Pass, you will need to let us know what day you would like your pass to start. We cannot issue open-dated Explore Wales passes.
Explore Wales Pass can only be purchased at a staffed railway station. Explore Wales Pass are NOT available to buy online, by telephone OR on board a train.
