  • What are you doing to make travel easier for older and disabled passengers?

    All of our trains have space for wheelchair users. We have train access ramps on all of our fleet of trains. These can be used at most of the stations we serve; however, access platforms can sometimes be a challenge due to the historical design of the station. We are working with Network Rail, to overcome these obstacles wherever possible, and wherever planning permissions permits and have installed fully accessible footbridges at many locations on our network. All our ticket offices now have fully accessible counters and induction loops fitted. In addition to the physical facilities we provide at stations and on trains, we also provide a range of other facilities, such as passenger assistance, discounted travel, large print timetable and a minicom booking service.
