    Who can travel with an Arriva Club 55 ticket?

    Anyone aged 55 and over can travel with an Arriva Club 55 ticket. You will need to carry proof of age with you when you travel. We can’t accept bus passes and recommend passport, driving licence or Senior Railcard. If you can’t prove your age you may need to buy a new ticket at the full standard fare as if you had no Arriva Club 55 ticket. No credit or refund will be available for the Arriva Club 55 ticket issued.

    When can I travel using an Arriva Club 55 ticket?

    Arriva Club 55 tickets are promotional fares available from Sunday 7 January 2018. Outward travel is only permitted on the date shown on the ticket. The Return journey must take place within 8 days, the first day being the outward travel dateprinted on the ticket. The last day of sale and outward travel will be Saturday 3 March 2018 inclusive and all return travel must be completed by 10 March 2018.

    Where can I travel?

    The Arriva Club 55 offer is only available for journeys made on Arriva Trains Wales services. You can travel to destinations across the Arriva Trains Wales network. Travel is permitted on the services of other participating train companies as shown on the coloured routes on the map overleaf. Payment of the applicable ‘add-on’ fare is required. Add on fares cannot be sold as a separate are and an Arriva Club 55 ticket must be purchased. Only one add-on fare is permitted at one end of the journey and not both.

    Where can I buy an Arriva Club 55 ticket?

    Arriva Club 55 products are available to buy from any National Rail station ticket office and through the Arriva Trains Wales website (we don’t charge booking fees either). You must buy your Arriva Club 55 ticket before you board the train. Only where there is no opportunity to buy before you board can tickets be purchased on board the train.

    Are there any restrictions on use?

    Travel using an Arriva Club 55 ticket is not permitted before 0930 Monday to Friday. There are no travel restrictions on Saturday* or Sunday. Travel is not permitted on services arriving into London Marylebone before 1000, or departing from London Marylebone between 1600 and 1900 (Monday to Friday).

    Do I need to book in advance?

    While you can buy on the day of travel, it’s always a good idea to buy your ticket before you travel. You’ll get the best fare deals and save time at the station. You can buy your Arriva Club 55 tickets from our website - we don’t charge booking fees.

    Can I break my journey?

    You can break your journey with an Arriva Club 55 ticket but any break of journey must be consistent with the travel dates and restrictions applicable to the ticket.

    What if I change my travel plans?

    You can change the date of outward travel as long as you do this before the Outward date shown on the ticket for a fee of £10. A full refund, less a fee of £10, will be given where both Outward and Return parts of the ticket are unused. You must submit your claim within 28 days from the Outward validity date. Any change of travel date must be within the Arriva Club 55 offer period. No refunds available for part used tickets.

    What if my journey is delayed?

    If you are delayed, you may be entitled to compensation. Further information is available on our website where you can also submit claim online or pick up a form from your nearest ticket office.

    Any other Terms & Conditions?

    All tickets are issued subject to the National Rail Conditions of Travel which are available from nationalrail.co.uk. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. The arriva Club 55 ticket sale offer ends on 3 March 2018.
