Travel Advice to the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Abergavenny 29 July – 6 August 2016

    This year’s National Eisteddfod visits Abergavenny and there will be a free shuttle bus taking visitors between the station and the Eisteddfod visitor center.

    Arriva Trains Wales are pleased to announce there will be services available for customers attending evening events at the Eisteddfod throughout the week.

    Please check before you travel to Abergavenny for the Eisteddfod. Live rail information is available by visiting www.journeycheck.com/arrivatrainswales .

    There are planned engineering works between Shrewsbury and Newport on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July, and Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August. A rail replacement service will be running between these stations: Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool and New Inn, Abergavenny, Hereford, Leominister, Ludlow, Craven Arms, Church Stretton and Shrewsbury.
