Guide Dogs for the Blind

Photomarathon

Arriva Trains Wales is pleased to support 'Photomarathon', which encourages budding photographers from across Wales are to take part in a unique photography competition, which is held in Cardiff.

Supported by the train company for the second year running, Cardiff’s annual Photomarathon is a photo competition with a twist as 400 contestants race against the clock to take 12 pictures on 12 given topics, in just 12 hours.


Beyond The Border, International Storytelling Festival

Beyond The Border PosterBeyond The Border is Wales’ leading International Storytelling Festival, a spectacular three day celebration of oral traditions from around the world, taking place in the grounds of St Donats Castle on the South Wales coast on the first weekend of July 2007.

Rediscover some of the world’s oldest stories, brought thrillingly alive by today’s leading tellers of traditional tales.

Beyond The Border also works throughout the year in partnership with other organisations from Wales and the rest of the UK.


Christian Lewis Trust

Arriva Trains Wales is working in partnership with the Christian Lewis Trust to provide complimentary rail travel to families of children receiving treatment for cancer.


Valleys Kids

Valleys KidsValleys Kids is a charity working with disadvantaged children and families in the valleys of South Wales.
