North Wales Rover LeafletNorth Wales Rover is the excellent value ticket that is being used by increasing numbers of people travelling by bus and train around NorthWales. You can buy the ticket for 2, 3 or all zones! There are 8 zones which are mainly based on the borders of the counties in the region. The counties of Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire, and Flintshire are represented as individual zones, but Gwynedd is split into 2 separate zones.Wrexham and Chester is one zone.

There is also a zone which covers the routes between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth (Ceredigion North). All trains and most buses are included in the validity of the tickets within the relevant zones. Certain extra services are included as shown opposite and on the zone map. So for an economical day out, whether for work or leisure purposes, all you have to do is decide which ticket you want then just make your way to the nearest bus stop or station and buy the ticket that meets your needs for the day. Tickets are valid all day until 2359.

Where can i use the North Wales Rover?

Dependant on the zones purchased the ticket is valid on all trains and most buses operating in the counties of NorthWales. It is also valid (subject to the correct zone being purchased), to/from Chester City Centre, Chester Station, Chester Business Park, Ellesmere Port (bus services 100 and 111 only), Machynlleth and Aberystwyth (bus services 28, 32, X32 and train).

So much choice of where to go.

The choice of where to go in NorthWales is almost limitless. Explore the vast Snowdonia National Park, the Berwyn Mountains including the Clwydian Range or the wild and mountainous Lleyn Peninsula. Go bird watching in the Mawddach Estuary. View mighty castles such as Denbigh, Conwy, Caernarfon, Harlech, and Beaumaris. Or perhaps your preference is a seaside resort in which case head towards Prestatyn, Rhyl, Llandudno, Pwllheli, Porthmadog, Barmouth, Borth or Aberystwyth to name just a few!Walk the town walls of Chester or Conwy, follow the town trail in Dolgellau or Llangollen. Or just go for the ride and enjoy the views! You’ll definitely enjoy travelling on one of the many steam railways (a 50%reduction on ordinary fares is offered on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway network for holders of an all zones NorthWales Rover Ticket).Whatever your choice, buses and trains will get you there without stress, without the need to find a parking space and, with a North Wales Rover Ticket, without having todig deeply in your pocket.
