    Tom Joyner, Managing Director of Arriva Trains Wales Tom Joyner - Managing Director 
    Tom joins ATW from London Midland, where he was Passenger Services Director and brings with him 20 years’ experience in the rail industry.
    Tom joined London Midland in 2013 and has led a team of 2,000 people to transform the 60 million passenger journeys made every year. His efforts led to London Midland being given the accolade of Britain’s most improved organisation for customer service by the Institute of Customer Service. His previous roles include working in the field of future rail systems at Network Rail and before that holding board and leadership roles within the First Group and National Express Train Operating Companies.

    Bethan is responsible for our customer-facing on-train and station teams.
    Lynne Milligan, Projects & Planning Director  Lynne Milligan - Projects & Planning Director
    The Projects Director is responsible for leading the ATW part of the major projects of Electrification, major signalling renewal and Property, as well as continually reviewing and developing our train plan.
    Owen Clutterbuck, Finance Director  Owen Clutterbuck - Finance Director
    Owen is responsible for the company's financial, payroll, procurement and IT functions.
    Chris Williams, Commercial Director  Chris Williams - Commercial Director
    Chris is responsible for our marketing, ticketing, pricing and retailing functions within ATW.
    Simon Hughes, Engineering Director  Simon Hughes - Engineering Director
    Our Engineering Director has overall responsibility for all aspects of Arriva Trains Wales robust fleet maintenance programme.

    Gareth Thomas is responsible for the Human Resources department, which is responsible for employee relations, training and recruitment for the company

    Responsible for the day to day operational side of the company, including the safety function, performance management, control and our team of experienced train drivers.
