Line Closure between Rhymney and Tir-Phil

Saturday 26 July to Sunday 7 September Inclusive

Due to essential engineering work by Network Rail a replacement bus service will be in operation in both directions between Rhymney, Pontlottyn and Tir-Phil Mondays to Saturdays on the above dates and between Rhymney, Pontlottyn, Tir-Phil, Brithdir and Bargoed in both directions on Sundays.

Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

Trains south of Tir-Phil will run as normal Monday to Saturday and trains south of Bargoed will run as normal on Sunday.

Arriva Trains Wales apologise for any inconvenience that these temporary alterations may cause. Details of alterations can be obtained from your local travel office. It is regretted that dogs (except guide dogs), cycles, prams and large items of luggage will not normally be conveyed on replacement road coach services.
