Arriva Trains Wales works closely with a number of partners to maximize opportunities to enhance services and facilities for our customers.

Passenger Focus
Passenger Focus is the voice of rail passengers and was set up by Parliament to protect passengers' interests. Passenger Focus meets regularly with Train Operating Companies, Network Rail and other key stakeholders such as the Welsh Assembly Government and British Transport Police. Rail user groups
There are many voluntary Rail User Groups on the Arriva Trains Wales network which exist to promote and encourage greater patronage of rail in their local communities. The Dolau Station Action Group, for example, have 'adopted' the tiny mid Wales station and care for its appearance. The Group has received many national awards for its outstanding floral displays, which adorn the station.

Regional transport consortia
There are four regional transport consortia in Wales, whose responsibilities include the development of regional transport strategies aimed at encouraging greater use of public transport.
We work closely with these regional consortia to discuss proposals and implement improvements to the local rail network. The SEWTA (South East Wales Transport Alliance) has been fundamental in the improvements delivered across the Valleys and Cardiff network.
