Travelling in the South Wales area between Christmas and New Year?

  • 16 November 2016

Network Rail Improvement Work from 22:00 Saturday 24 December 2016 until Monday 2 January 2017 inclusive

Network Rail is undertaking essential modernisation work in the South Wales area which will affect both local Cardiff and Valleys services and mainline services (Arriva Trains Wales, GWR and Cross Country services) between Newport and Bridgend. The work will enable the potential for more services to run on the Cardiff and Valleys network in the future.

Please check your journey plans before you travel as timetable changes vary each day over this period.
You can download a pdf version of our bi-lingual Christmas travel advice leaflet here.
