Ride the Chester to Shrewsbury line with Arriva Trains Wales

Travel along the Chester to Shrewsbury line - a journey through beautiful countryside and unspoilt villages, vibrant shopping centres and ancient market towns.

There's plenty to do along the line. Why not start with a shopping trip at Chester and stop for a visit to the city's magnificent cathedral. Wrexham is also great for shopping and there's a popular monthly Farmers Market.

Ruabon Station provides the link to the lovely town of Llangollen with its numerous attractions. Chirk station boasts a castle nearby and Chirk aqueduct with its adjacent viaduct make a breathtaking sight.

Gobowen Station is the link to the attractive market town of Oswestry, while Shrewsbury makes a lovely day out with places to visit such as its abbey and castle, combined with museums, shops and beautiful waterside walks.
